Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 6

• Recognizes the important recovery services provided by clubhouse programs for individuals with mental illness, including employment assistance and support services.

• Acknowledges that clubhouse programs are currently funded through Medicaid dollars, but this funding source will no longer be available after July 1, 2010.

• Urges the Division of Mental Health and Addiction to seek alternative funding from any available source to enable clubhouse programs to continue operating after the Medicaid funding ends.

• Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the Secretary of the Family and Social Services Administration and the Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
