• Requires physicians performing abortions to have admitting privileges at a hospital located in the county where the abortion is performed or in an adjacent county.
• Mandates that physicians notify patients of the hospital location where they have privileges and where follow-up care for complications can be received.
• Amends Indiana Code section IC 16-34-2-4.5.
• Effective July 1, 2011.
