• Amends IC 8-1-2-125 to modify exemptions for mandatory sewer system connections by not-for-profit utilities.

• Eliminates the 500-foot distance exemption from mandatory sewer connection requirements if the property is located within the watershed of a publicly owned reservoir with at least 1,000 surface acres of water.

• Applies the mandatory connection requirement to properties within such reservoir watersheds that provide water-based public recreation including swimming, boating, or fishing.

• Effective upon passage with an emergency declaration.
