Appropriates $10,000 from the state general fund to the legislative council and legislative services agency for travel expenses and per diem allowances for state legislators to meet with members of Congress to pursue passage of the federal Main Street Fairness Act (H.R. 5660).

Appropriates $25,000 from the state general fund to the Washington liaison office to pursue passage of the Main Street Fairness Act.

Funds are available beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011, with allowable expenditures including meetings with U.S. Congress members and hosting congressional members in Indianapolis.

Any unexpended funds do not lapse at the end of fiscal year 2011 but remain available through June 30, 2013 for the same purposes.

Appropriation authority expires July 1, 2013.
