HB 1320 Summary

• Requires the alcohol and tobacco commission to initiate permit violation proceedings against employees who serve alcohol to minors when proceedings are initiated against the permit holder.

• First violation by an employee results in a disciplinary warning and $100 civil penalty.

• Second or subsequent violations result in a 2-year suspension or denial of employee permit renewal and a $200 civil penalty.

• Employee violations become inactive 2 years after the violation date and cannot be counted toward future violations, suspensions, or penalties.

• Effective July 1, 2011.
