Establishes a 10-member sustainable natural resource task force composed of 2 Senate members, 2 House members, and 6 members recommended by specified conservation and agricultural organizations.

Requires the task force to collect data on Indiana's current natural resource protection programs and funding, perform a needs assessment, and gather information about natural resource programs and funding mechanisms in other states.

Mandates progress reports to the natural resources study committee during the 2012 legislative interim and a final report with findings, recommendations, and a natural resources health report card due to the General Assembly and governor by January 1, 2013.

Task force members serving in the General Assembly receive standard legislative per diem and travel allowances; other members serve without compensation.

Task force automatically expires May 1, 2013, with initial meeting required by May 30, 2011.
