Replaces the 180 instructional days requirement with hour-based minimums: 900 hours for grades 1-6 and 1,080 hours for grades 7-12.

Modifies the formula for calculating tuition support reductions when schools fail to meet minimum instructional time requirements, simplifying from a nine-step process to a three-step calculation.

Changes the minimum school term definition from nine months to a variable number of instructional days calculated through a multi-step formula based on actual hours conducted.

Effective July 1, 2011, amending Indiana Code sections 20-30-2-3, 20-30-2-4, and 20-30-2-7.
