Increases the monthly personal needs allowance from $52 to $70 for residential care assistance recipients living in county homes who are at least 65 years old, blind, or have a disability

Raises the monthly personal allowance from $52 to $70 for Medicaid recipients receiving care in hospitals or nursing facilities

Increases the monthly personal allowance from $52 to $70 for Medicaid recipients living in community residential facilities for the developmentally disabled

Personal allowance amounts are exempt from income eligibility consideration and may be used exclusively for personal needs

Effective date: July 1, 2011
