Honors the Indiana Main Street program for 25 years of service to Indiana cities and towns since its establishment in 1985

Recognizes that Indiana Main Street uses a four-point approach (design, organization, promotion, and economic restructuring) to revitalize downtown business districts

Notes that national research shows Main Street programs generate approximately $27 in community reinvestment for every $1 spent on program operations

Acknowledges that 105 Indiana communities currently participate in the program and have benefited from downtown revitalization services

Directs the House to transmit copies of the resolution to Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman, the Program Director, and members of the Main Street Advisory Council
