Senate Bill No. 20 Summary

• Prohibits state agencies from entering into contracts with or making grants to Planned Parenthood of Indiana using state or federally-administered funds.

• Cancels all existing appropriations designated for contracts with or grants to Planned Parenthood of Indiana from budget bills, IC 5-19-1-3.5, or any other state law.

• Requires the budget agency to determine that funds are unavailable and terminate any existing contracts or grants with Planned Parenthood of Indiana under existing termination procedures.

• Takes effect immediately upon passage, with an emergency declaration included in the bill.
