Senate Bill 103 Summary

• Classifies materials, compounds, mixtures, or preparations containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine as schedule III controlled substances effective July 1, 2011.

• Requires ephedrine and pseudoephedrine products to be dispensed only by prescription.

• Amends Indiana Code 35-48-2-8 to add ephedrine and pseudoephedrine to the list of controlled substances in schedule III.
