Senate Bill 132 Summary

• Allows operators and workers at charity gaming events (excluding full-time employees of the qualified organization) to receive up to $50 in remuneration for conducting or assisting with the event.

• Permits qualified organizations to provide meals, recognition dinners, and social events to operators and workers in addition to the $50 payment, provided these benefits do not constitute an unreasonable expenditure.

• Allows employees of qualified organizations holding a PPT (Pull Tab Punchboard Tip board) license to participate in the sale and redemption of pull tabs, punchboards, and tip boards and receive their ordinary employment compensation.

• Effective July 1, 2011.
