Speech-language pathologists who completed coursework and obtained a life license from the Indiana Department of Education before September 1, 1990 are now eligible to supervise speech-language pathology support personnel without holding a certificate of clinical competence from a nationally recognized association

Removes the requirement that supervising speech-language pathologists must have at least three years of clinical experience

Voids administrative rule 880 IAC 1-2.1-9(i) concerning qualification requirements to supervise speech-language pathology support personnel

Applies retroactively to July 1, 2010, temporarily waiving the certificate of clinical competence requirement for all speech-language pathologists supervising support personnel until the amended statute takes effect July 1, 2011
