Authorizes the Purdue University board of trustees to establish a fire department for the West Lafayette campus, effective July 1, 2011

Fire department jurisdiction covers all property owned or occupied by the West Lafayette campus, including streets passing through and adjacent to campus

Board of trustees may employ fire and safety personnel, determine their duties, prescribe uniforms, and obtain emergency vehicles and equipment

Fire personnel may provide services at other Indiana locations when approved by the board and engaged in official duties

Board may enter into interlocal cooperation agreements and mutual aid agreements with municipal fire departments, volunteer fire departments, the state fire marshal, and other emergency services agencies
