Counties and municipalities joining a regional development authority (other than the northwest Indiana regional development authority) between July 1, 2011 and July 1, 2013 would contribute at a reduced rate of 0.025% of county economic development income tax revenue

Existing members of regional development authorities continue to contribute at the standard rate of 0.05% of county economic development income tax revenue

The reduced contribution rate for new members during the specified window is half the amount required of existing members

Effective date is July 1, 2011
