Prohibits individuals convicted of voting-related offenses under IC 3-14-2 from being employed by the state, county, municipality, or township for three years following sentencing

Automatically terminates current state or local government employment on the date of sentencing for those convicted of voting offenses

Allows courts to suspend or modify the employment prohibition if the convicted person committed the offense due to fear of employment-related retaliation and demonstrates they understand the wrongfulness of their conduct

Effective date: July 1, 2011
