SB 450 Summary

• Amends IC 16-19-14-6 to change the reporting structure of the director of the office of minority health
• Director of the office must now report directly to the state health commissioner instead of an appointed assistant commissioner
• State health commissioner appoints the director and other office staff as deemed necessary
• Director supervises all employees assigned to the office and oversees its administrative functions
• Effective July 1, 2011
