Establishes a new partition procedure requiring courts to refer partition matters to mediation within 30 days of a petition being filed.

Requires the court to order property sold at auction if parties cannot reach an agreement within 60 days of the mediation order.

Requires the person filing for partition to conduct a title search (for real property) or lien search under the Uniform Commercial Code (for personal property) and file results with the court.

Specifies that property sold at auction must be sold within 30-60 days after an auctioneer is selected or the court orders the sheriff to conduct the sale, with proceeds divided proportionally among owners.

Repeals 19 superseded statutes related to the previous partition procedure and becomes effective July 1, 2011.
