Senate Bill 546 Summary

• Eliminates the virtual charter school pilot program effective January 1, 2011 (retroactively).

• Eliminates the school scholarship tax credit program effective January 1, 2011 (retroactively).

• Repeals IC 6-3.1-30.5, IC 20-24-7-13, IC 20-43-1-31, and IC 20-51 concerning virtual charters and scholarship tax credits.

• Removes references to virtual charter schools from the definition of "state tuition support" in IC 20-43-1-25.

• Removes provisions for virtual charter school basic tuition support calculations from IC 20-43-6-3.
