Establishes a $35 blood sample and chemical test fee to be collected from defendants found guilty of a crime, infraction, or municipal ordinance violation when a political subdivision paid for obtaining or testing the blood sample

Applies when blood samples are tested to determine the presence of alcohol or controlled substances in the defendant's blood

Requires court clerks to collect the fee from convicted defendants and forward it to the fiscal officer of the political subdivision that paid for the blood sample collection or testing

Directs the political subdivision's fiscal officer to deposit the collected fees into the general fund of that political subdivision

Effective date: July 1, 2011
