Highlights Indiana's economic ties to Canada, including $8.1 billion in exports (2009), $12.6 billion in bilateral trade, and approximately 162,300 Indiana jobs dependent on Canadian trade

Notes the project would create 10,000 construction jobs and more than 30,000 indirect jobs in the United States during construction

Supports Michigan's pursuit of a public-private partnership with Transport Canada to finance, construct, operate, and maintain the bridge while keeping it under public ownership
