Urges the Indiana Department of Transportation to name the portion of Indiana Highway 46 between Columbus and Nashville in honor of Marine Sergeant Jeremy McQueary.

Marine Sergeant McQueary, age 27 from Nashville, Indiana, was killed by an improvised explosive device on February 18, 2011 during combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Sergeant McQueary served one tour in Afghanistan and two previous tours in Iraq, earning a Combat Action Ribbon and additional service decorations, and was to receive a Purple Heart.

McQueary graduated early from Columbus East High School in 2002 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, following inspiration from his late father Dallas McQueary, a Bartholomew County Sheriff's reserve deputy.

The Secretary of the Senate shall transmit a copy of the resolution to McQueary's wife Rae McQueary, his mother Deborah Kleinschmidt, and his sister Rebecca Willison.
