Memorializes Bill Cook, a Bloomington industrialist and philanthropist who died at age 80, for his service to Indiana citizens.

Cook Group, Inc., founded in 1963 with a $1,500 investment, grew to 42 companies employing over 10,000 people globally, starting with his invention of a heart catheterization instrument.

Invested $35 million in the West Baden-French Lick community and donated $10 million toward transforming the Old Centrum in Indianapolis into the new home of Indiana Landmarks.

With his wife Gayle, established the William and Gayle Cook Music Library at Indiana University, contributed millions to the Star of Indiana drum and bugle corps, founded the Monroe County YMCA, and donated to Indiana University, Northwestern University, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to Gayle Cook.
