Indiana Senate honors the friendship and alliance between Indiana and Turkey, recognizing shared values of freedom, democracy, and human rights.

Acknowledges approximately 400,000 Turkish Americans in the United States with a growing population in Indiana, and recognizes Turkey as the world's fifteenth largest economy.

Recognizes economic partnership including Indiana State Department of Agriculture trade missions to Istanbul, Jasper lumber exports, and business relationships in hardwoods and furniture products.

Notes that within the last three years, 400 civic leaders, elected officials, and academics traveled to Turkey to establish partnerships, encourage business opportunities, and create student exchange programs between universities.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Bilal Eksili.
