Honors Lieutenant General Hal Moore for his military service to the United States.

Recognizes Moore's command of the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment during the Battle of Ia Drang on November 14, 1965, where approximately 450 U.S. troops were outnumbered almost five to one by an estimated 2,000 North Vietnamese soldiers.

Acknowledges Moore's 32 years of active military service from 1945 to 1977, including combat service in Korea and Vietnam, instruction at West Point, and various command positions with the Eighth Army and 7th Infantry Division.

Notes Moore's awards and decorations including the Distinguished Service Cross, two Combat Infantryman's Badges, and Master Paratrooper designation.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of this resolution to Lieutenant General Hal Moore.
