Urges the Legislative Council to assign the Health Finance Commission the task of developing a state policy to reduce obesity and diabetes in Indiana adults

Commission must examine current obesity trends in Indiana adults, including the 2009 baseline of 62.4% of Hoosier adults being overweight or obese

Commission shall evaluate current and future estimated costs of obesity to Indiana and its employer community

Commission must identify methodologies and state policies to reduce the number of overweight and obese adults in Indiana

Commission shall issue a final report when directed by the Legislative Council
