Adds vehicle forfeiture for resisting law enforcement offenses under IC 35-44-3-3(b), allowing seizure of motor vehicles owned by the operator or the operator's spouse.

Vehicles used to commit resisting law enforcement can be seized as property subject to forfeiture under IC 34-24-1-1(a)(17).

Exempts vehicles from forfeiture if operated by someone other than the owner or owner's spouse, unless the owner knowingly permitted the vehicle to be used for the offense.

Applies to convictions involving use of a motor vehicle under resisting law enforcement charges classified as felonies.

Effective July 1, 2012.
