IN HB1351

Allows healthcare providers to collect a Medicaid recipient's remaining spend down balance from the recipient at the time services are rendered to offset service costs.

Requires providers who collect spend down amounts to report the collected amount to the state office, the managed care organization (if applicable), or the office's billing contractor.

Amends Indiana Code 12-15-1-22 by adding a new section.

Effective July 1, 2012.
