Honors the Martinsville High School Spell Bowl team for winning first place in the 2011 Spell Bowl State Finals at Purdue University with a perfect score of 90, beating Penn High School by one point.

Recognizes that Martinsville High School has finished first in the Spell Bowl State Finals nine times and placed in the top two spots for 18 consecutive years.

Honors the East Middle School Spell Bowl team for placing second in Class 2 of the 2011 Spell Bowl State Finals, losing by two points to Thomas Jefferson Middle School; this was their seventh runner-up finish and 14th state-level competition.

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit copies of the resolution to 11 high school team members, 8 middle school team members, 2 coaches, 2 school principals, and the superintendent.
