Recognizes the National Guard Patriot Academy as a pilot program offering high school dropouts the opportunity to join the National Guard, earn a high school diploma, and perform community service.

Acknowledges the academy as the first and only accredited high school for soldiers run by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, accredited by the Indiana State Board of Education.

Notes the academy is a residential facility at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville with capacity for up to 250 students, combining academic instruction, military training, and community service.

Directs the House Principal Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to Commandant Lieutenant Colonel William (Kenny) Freeman, Jr.

Urges the academy to continue developing and expanding its curriculum to help reduce high school dropout rates.
