Honors Representative Richard McClain upon his retirement from the Indiana House of Representatives at the end of the 2012 legislative session after representing House District 24 since 1994.

Acknowledges McClain's service on the Financial Institutions Committee, Roads and Transportation Committee, Ways and Means Committee, Veterans and Public Safety Committee, and Select Committee on Government Reduction.

Recognizes his legislative accomplishments including establishing the Logansport Ivy Tech location, funding Indiana's $1.8 billion transportation deficit for the Hoosier Heartland Corridor, and supporting ethanol and biodiesel production plants.

Highlights his background as a business owner, Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War, former Jefferson Township Trustee and Logansport City Engineer, and active community volunteer with numerous civic organizations.

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House to transmit copies of the resolution to Representative McClain and his family.
