Requires property and casualty insurers to provide a premium discount on homeowner insurance policies for residences with metal roofs effective July 1, 2012.

Applies to policies covering first-party loss on Indiana property for residential buildings of no more than 4 units where at least one unit is the insured's principal residence.

Defines "metal roof" as a roof where at least 95% of the total surface area consists of metal roofing material.

Mandates that discount amounts must reflect the cost savings the insurer expects to realize from insuring metal roof properties.

Applies to all policies issued, renewed, or delivered after June 30, 2012.
