Prohibits courts from admitting evidence of writeoffs, discounts, or other deductions associated with collateral source payments in personal injury or wrongful death actions

Creates an exception for medical malpractice actions brought under IC 34-18, which would still allow such writeoff and discount evidence

Amends existing collateral source payment rules in IC 34-44-1-2 that already exclude life insurance payments, plaintiff-paid insurance benefits, and government compensation from evidence

Effective date of July 1, 2012
