Requires all nominees for municipal offices to appear on the ballot if an election is being held for any office within that municipality, even if some candidates are unopposed

Amends existing law that previously allowed canceling elections for municipal offices when only one nominee or write-in candidate filed with no contest

Applies to municipal offices elected during both municipal and general elections

Effective date of July 1, 2012
