Senate Bill 184 - Summary

• Creates new criminal offense of "unlawful recording of agricultural operations" as a Class A misdemeanor under IC 35-43-2-2.5
• Prohibits entering another person's property where agricultural operations occur and photographing or video recording the property, structures, or operations without written consent from the owner or authorized representative
• Defines "agricultural operations" to include production of crops, livestock, poultry, livestock products, poultry products, and horticultural products
• Exempts law enforcement officers, federal officers, and land surveyors acting in official capacity or under supervision from the prohibition
• Effective July 1, 2012
