Senate Bill 244 Summary

• Amends Indiana Code IC 2-7-1-10 to exempt three additional organizations from the definition of "lobbyist."

• Adds the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses, and the State Agriculture and Rural Leaders Association to the list of organizations not considered lobbyists.

• Maintains the existing $500 threshold for compensation or expenditures in a registration year that would require a person to register as a lobbyist.

• Takes effect July 1, 2012.
