Allows school corporation governing bodies and charter school authorities to require recitation of the Lord's Prayer at the beginning of each school day.

Prayer may be recited by a teacher, student, or entire class of students.

Governing body or equivalent authority must determine which version of the Lord's Prayer will be recited in the school.

Students are exempt from participation if they choose not to participate or if a parent chooses to have the student not participate.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
