Adds new section IC 32-31-3-13.5 effective July 1, 2012, allowing landlords to accept (but not require) liens on tenants' motor vehicles as security deposits or to secure rent payment

Requires landlords accepting motor vehicle liens to file or record the lien under IC 32-33

Requires landlords to comply with all security deposit requirements under IC 32-31-3 to enforce the motor vehicle lien
