Senate Bill 332 Summary

• Requires each state agency and political subdivision to submit annual reports to the budget agency by November 1 detailing total federal receipts, percentage of budget funded by federal sources, and contingency plans for 5% or greater and 25% or greater reductions in federal funding

• Mandates the budget agency compile and submit a comprehensive report to the House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Appropriations Committee by December 1 each year, including a list of non-compliant agencies

• Requires the chairs of the House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Appropriations Committee to place the budget agency report on their next committee agenda for review and consideration

• Permits committees to recommend reducing or eliminating appropriations, take no action, or approve other actions based on the federal receipts report

• Takes effect July 1, 2012
