Case management services provided by the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services must be delivered by entities independent of both the division and any non-case management service providers

The division must contract with multiple case management providers to ensure individuals have a choice of providers regardless of their location in the state

Contracts for case management services after July 1, 2012, are limited to one-year terms with a maximum of one one-year renewal before re-bidding is required

The division must submit annual reports to the Commission on Developmental Disabilities covering the number of contracts, clients served, and client satisfaction with case management services

Case management is defined as assistance helping individuals develop community connections, utilize natural supports, find career paths leading to employment, and obtain/maintain Medicaid and other resources
