Senate Bill 372 Summary

• Expands large campaign contribution reporting requirements to all candidates, not just state office candidates, effective July 1, 2012.

• Requires filing supplemental large contribution reports within 48 hours for contributions of at least $1,000 received between 25-2 days before an election.

• Requires filing supplemental large contribution reports within 7 days for any single contribution of at least $10,000 received at any time.

• Reports must include contributor name, address, occupation (if individual), contribution amount, and dates/times contributions were received.
