Urges the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) to name State Road 11, from mile marker 44 to mile marker 45, the Trooper Earl L. Brown Memorial Mile.

Trooper Brown was born January 4, 1913, and appointed as a state trooper on October 16, 1940, serving at the Seymour post for nearly 15 years.

Trooper Brown was killed on August 31, 1955, while investigating a report of a suspicious male, becoming the ninth Indiana State Trooper killed in the line of duty.

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to Trooper Brown's family and the Department of Transportation.
