Recognizes the 122nd Fighter Wing "Blacksnakes" located in Fort Wayne as a group of citizen airmen serving with distinction and honor.

Notes the unit has received four Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards, deployed over 2,300 personnel to 32 locations since September 11, 2001, and maintains a safety record with more than 72,000 flight hours since the last major aircraft mishap in 1989.

Acknowledges the 122nd Fighter Wing's role in Air Sovereignty Alert missions with response times under ten minutes to major metropolitan areas including Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis.

Credits the unit with providing community services including Honor Flight support for World War II veterans, aircraft flybys for public events, 24-hour crash and fire rescue aid to Fort Wayne International Airport, and STARBASE education for over 600 fifth-grade students in science and technology disciplines.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to Indiana's Congressional delegation, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, U.S. Secretary of the Air Force, and the Adjutant General.
