Acknowledges Lafayette campus history beginning as Tippewa Technical Institute in 1968 and expansion through facilities including Ivy Hall (opened 2001), Griffin Hall, and the Gerald I. Lamkin Union Apprenticeship Center

Recognizes transfer agreements with eight universities including Purdue University, Indiana University, Ball State University, and others, as well as partnerships with Tippecanoe County Public Library

Highlights new programs offered in 2011 in Advanced Manufacturing, Health Services, Therapeutic Massage, and Sustainable and Renewable Energy, with nearly 400 graduates in commencement ceremonies

Directs Secretary of Senate to transmit resolution copies to Ivy Tech campuses in Lafayette, Crawfordsville, and Monticello
