Williams served as Public Affairs Specialist for East-Central Indiana beginning in 1984, covering 25 counties across six Social Security districts including Anderson, Columbus, Kokomo, Marion, Muncie, and Richmond

Spent his entire career at the Anderson Social Security office providing community outreach, public education, and presentations to residents of Madison County and surrounding areas

Received multiple Regional SSA and community awards recognizing his efforts in Social Security outreach and public education

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to John Williams
