Congratulates South Bend Police Department Patrolman Ken Ryan and LaPorte County Sheriff's Department Deputy Keith Waltz for receiving national honors at shooting championships.

Patrolman Ryan won back-to-back National Police Shooting Championships titles, becoming the first Michiana area officer to win the competition and defending his championship in his division.

Deputy Waltz clinched his division title at the National Police Shooting Championships and competed as a newcomer in the Unclassified Division.

Both officers earned top honors in open, service, and distinguished classes at the National Rifle Association event in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and were each named overall Grand Champions of their respective divisions.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Patrolman Ken Ryan and Deputy Keith Waltz.
