House Bill 1021 Summary

• Prohibits Indiana governmental entities from adopting or implementing policy recommendations from the United Nations' 1992 "Agenda 21" that infringe on or restrict private property rights without due process.

• Prohibits Indiana governmental entities from adopting or implementing any international law or plan that contradicts the U.S. Constitution or Indiana Constitution.

• Prohibits Indiana governmental entities from entering into agreements with, expending funds from, or paying funds to any "Agenda 21 organization" (nongovernmental or intergovernmental entities accredited by the United Nations to implement Agenda 21).

• Declares any actions violating these prohibitions void.

• Effective July 1, 2013.
