IN HB1139

Requires the board to notify architects by certified or registered mail within 60 days if they fail to renew their certificate of registration and are not retired from practice

Creates a one-year registration renewal program (July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014) for architects who held valid certificates on January 1, 2005 but failed to renew during any period between January 1, 2005 and June 30, 2013

Eligible architects must pay all unpaid renewal fees, the current renewal fee, and a late fee equal to the total unpaid fees to reinstate their registration through the program

Establishes a renewal program fund administered by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency to cover costs of the renewal program and notification requirements

Adds an alternative reinstatement pathway under section 33 for architects whose registrations have lapsed for up to 5 years or more than 5 years, in addition to existing reinstatement options
