Department of Environmental Management must allow applicants to correct or amend applications for confined feeding operation construction or expansion before denying or revoking approval (except for denials based on misrepresentation or prior enforcement actions).

Applicants are not required to repeat any part of the approval process that is not affected by their corrections or amendments to the application.

Time period for applicants to correct or amend applications is not counted toward the 90-day determination deadline the department must meet.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
