• Amends Indiana Code IC 3-5-2-40.5 to add a Veterans Identification Card issued by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as acceptable proof of identification for voting purposes.

• Allows Veterans Identification Cards to serve as valid voter identification even if they lack an expiration date or have an indefinite expiration date, exempting them from the standard expiration date requirement.

• Effective July 1, 2013.
